Spice of the Month; Peppermint
Peppermint tea is a favorite all over the world.  It has a strong effect on the digestive system and will help control diarrhea, and it relieves indigestion.
Headache Aid: Peppermint tea helps with headaches especially those emanating from the digestive system.
Muscle spasms or cramps: Drink peppermint tea or apply it externally as a wet mash to the area of pain.   The camphorous principles in peppermint helps to relieve pain.
Sinus: Drinking lots of peppermint tea and applying  a large warm peppermint pack to the sinus area is quite effective.
Coughs, Bronchitis, and Asthma: Use frequent doses (1 teaspoon) of peppermint tea or 8 to 10 drops of the essence of peppermint in a cup of boiling water.
Nausea: Reduce a feeling of nausea with a cup of hot aromatic peppermint tea.  You may add a pinch of basil and/or ginger.
