How does practicing yoga help with meditation?
When you practice yoga and you go within, the mind is calm and clear. That is the best time to sit into meditation. Your mind is ready and your body is so relaxed that it won't distract you. You already are breathing softly and deeply. As you continue breathing softly and deeply, your mind continues clearing and you feel getting deeper into just being.

I will offer Chair/Mat yoga at Embry Hills library on Tuesdays from 3 to 4PM. The dates are July 9 and 16. On July 16 the session will start at 2PM.
